This edition will include all addendum parts as well as extensions and changes which hase gone through CAPI Association's approval procedures. It will be devided in three parts (specification, operating system, supplementary servcices) and is expected to be available 04/97.     1996  December Due to a necessary revision (FACILITY_RESP, DISPLAY, Reason) the Supplementary Services timeout was restarted. The document will go into effect on Wednesday, December 18th, 1996. The Direct-D-Channel-Access (as being tied to this document) will be official at the same time.  November The meeting of assembly 1 (technical committee) took place on Tuesday, 26th of November at AVM GmbH, Berlin. CAPI 2.0 has been extended to support early connects to the b-channel. This allows for access to in-band information at call-setup-& call-release time... The Supplementary Services extension for CAPI 2.0 has gone into timeout-phase. The document will go into effect on Tuesday, December 17th, 1996 Direct D-Channel-Access extensions for CAPI 2.0 have gone into timeout-phase. The second revision of the CAPI 2.0 specification is beeing worked on. It will include all addendum-parts in one revised document. CAPI 2.0 has been extended to support V.120 as b-channel protocol CAPI 2.0 now allows for V.42bis data-compression for X.75 & V.120 CAPI 2.0 now includes capabilites for fax-polling.
